カルマの秋学期の目標（行くよう！(๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ）[9/9]

 今学期、日本語のスキルスのために色々なやるべきな目標が当たらなきゃいけない！例えば、日本語で上手に話せるなのに、僕の書くのスキルスはあまり上手にできないと思う。先学期に新しい作った日本人の友達や日本語でペラペラできるクラスメートとたくさん簡単じゃない会話があったり、日本のレストランの店員に注文したりできました。さかし、書くの練習があまりしてみなかった。残念だいよね。。。この秋学期に頑張らなきゃいけない！三年生の日本語のクラスメートやノートルダムの留学生や大学に少ないいる日本人と毎週に話した方がいいと思う。そして、時間があれば、ノート中で漢字の練習をしてみたい。もう少し真面目になったら、何もできる！

日本語レベルを上げるには、毎日宿題をしながら、アニメや日本の音楽を聞いている。先週末からもう一回ネットフリックスで全部なオーバーロードを見ている。そのアニメを見ながら、他の授業の宿題をできました。サブタイトルを読まないで、たくさんが分かったり、キャラクターの会話について行ったりできました。

While watching the show, I even chose not to skip the opening and closing songs from each season to see how much of the songs' lyrics I understood. It was honestly a lot of fun and not as stressful because I wasn't worried about missing certain parts of the show. I know the general story so I was able to focus more on practicing my Japanese skills all while enjoying a show I like. Furthermore, the anime is generally very enticing series and one of the few isekai anime that I enjoy even after the four seasons. Some moments are a bit dull but still interesting nonetheless. On a more educational note, while watching the anime and actually paying attention to the subtitles, I was able to notice the subtle differences between what the Japanese VAs had said and what the English translators wrote. It was a really challenging experience to try and follow the show's story all while dissecting the Japanese being used.
