トライガンスタンピード {Wk 15}
TRIGUN STAMPEDE is a revitalized and reworked series of the original anime series called TRIGUN which is very popular among older generations like Millenials. It follows a man named Vash the Stampede, aka the Humanoid Typhoon, who is a notorious outlaw known for leaving chaos wherever he goes. This anime was done under animation studio Orange which did many other famous series like Beastars and Black Bullet. I personally have never watched the original TRIGUN series but I have to say that what I did watch was so interesting and captivating with its unique animation style that most anime don't follow. The art style and storyboard along with the character design were all so spectacular that it made me want to watch the original.
Related to my Japanese studies, the anime did a lot in terms of auditory recognition and practice of Japanese words. The anime also reviewed a common trope in anime where the main character is misunderstood for his actions but is doing the best he can to save those around him. Many Japanese anime's use the plot line of being misunderstood by either taking advantage of it like One Piece, Rising of the Shied Hero, or Saitama. They all use it in different ways but many anime like to utilize this idea of underestimating or overestimating the protagonist in some shape or form. Now looking away from the plot prediction, this anime like most uses a lot of katakana and bounces between polite and plain form for either character emphasis or just the speed of the conversation which is a very interesting thing to listen to when you understand the language.
