ドロヘドロ(Dorohedoro)

 

"Dorohedoro" is a fantastically gory but artistically pretty anime that follows Caiman and Nikaido who are trying to find out who turned Caiman's head into a lizard. The anime is set in a universe with two worlds that are divided by the magically-gifted sorcerers who live in their own world while the magicless live in place called the Hole. The show's message is one of living in-between as there is a lot of transformation and evolution. I really enjoyed the anime as it was both beautiful in its theme and just the character and world design. I really enjoy fantasy anime and the mix of gore and comedy adds a thrill that I thoroughly enjoyed while watching the show. I would watch this show again and again, and I'm really hopeful for another season!
